DESCRIPTION:Vastuullinen ja kestävä tekoälyn hyödyntäminen 16.11.2023 klo 16.15 - 17\nTIEKEn syyskokouksen avoimessa osuudessa pureudutaan "The Law Technologist" Ramak Molavi Vasse'in alustuksen johdolla tekoälyn vastuulliseen ja kestävään hyödyntämiseen. Digitaalisten oikeuksien parissa työskentelevä juristi ja vanhempi tutkija Vasse'i kertoo työstään tekoälyn läpinäkyvyyden\, etiikan ja sääntelyn parissa. Alustuksen jälkeen keskusteluun liittyvät TIEKEn datavastuullisuuden asiantuntija ja kouluttaja Mikko Eloholma ja kestävän digitalisaation eli Green ICT:n asiantuntija Antti Sipilä. Keskustelun juontaa TIEKEn toiminnanjohtaja Hanna Niemi-Hugaerts. Tilaisuus pidetään englanniksi.\nYleisö pääsee myös esittämään kolmikolle kysymyksiä\, joten luvassa on taatusti monipuolinen katsaus aiheeseen. As a digital rights advocate and senior researcher\, she will be speaking about her work with the ethics\, privacy\, and governance of AI. After Ramaks presentation\, the discussion will be joined by TIEKEs Accelerator of Digital Skills\, Mikko Eloholma as well as TIEKEs Antti Sipilä\, Manager of the Green ICT project. The discussion will be hosted by Hanna Niemi-Hugaerts\, TIEKEs Executive Director. The event will be held in English.\nThe audience will be given a chance to ask questions\, so this is sure to be a versatile overview of the subject. The event will be recorded.\nPlease join us online on the 16th of November at 16:15 hrs (UTC+2)!\nAlustajat / Presentors\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRamak Molavi Vasse’i (The Law Technologist) is a digital rights advocate and senior researcher. She has been leading the Meaningful AI Transparency research project at Mozilla since September 2021.She is a visiting lecturer at the University of Potsdam and IE Law School in Madrid\, and works as a policy advisor on new technologies. Her research focuses on the ethics of AI\, AI governance\, privacy and data protection\, and the regulation of new technologies. Her interdisciplinary work is dedicated to the development of sustainable and public good-oriented technologies.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMikko Eloholma designs and facilitates trainings and workshops focusing on digital skills and data-related concepts such as data responsibility\, data protection aand data-driven business. Mikko participated Open Data Institutes Data Ethics Facilitator training and has been developing TIEKE’s Data responsibility training\, first time organized in Spring 2023.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAntti Sipilä is committed to spreading the word about reducing the ICT sector’s environmental footprint – and increasing its handprint. He works at TIEKE with projects that help both companies of various sizes and the public sector to be more sustainable in their digital endeavours.
