Data protection training to associations

Ensuring data protection in hobbies - GDPR4CHLDRN project organizes an online training session in September for associations about data protection. During this training session you can learn more about data protection and data protection legislation. This event is aimed to persons who are involved in associations which arrange hobby activities as board members, coaches or as volunteers. This training session will be held in English and taking part doesn't require any prior knowledge of data protection.

The goal of the GDPR4CHLDRN project is to help children, young people and parents as well as people actively involved in clubs and associations better understand the processing of personal data and data protection legislation. Materials targeted at them will be developed in the project.

Registration

Register for the event by filling out the form in the Webropol service. Registration is open 20.8.-23.9.2024.You will receive the participation link in your email on the day of the event at the latest.

Processing of personal data

During the project, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman and TIEKE will organise online webinars and workshops for the Boards of clubs and associations, parents, and companies, as well as online training sessions for the organisers of hobby and leisure activities. The reason for collecting personal data is to contact those who wish to take part in these events and to report projects's progress to the financier.
